A Special Thanks to the Many Volunteers

There have been Expos since 1995.

Each and every Expo is planned by the staff of the Bay Area Christian Church.  But the nuts and bolts, the gears that drive the Expo, give it life and make it the success that it has become each year, are you, the volunteers from our church family.  Every year the number of volunteers has grown, and every year the Expo has exceeded our expectations, inspiring us all to new faith and dreams.   None of those Expos could have been the successful and encouraging moments in our history without our volunteers!

This year, as in the past, our gratitude can never be expressed enough. 

For those who served at the unloading and set up of the Registration, Media, Lounge areas, and decorating the Main Stage, starting as early as Friday morning, and for those who helped with the Breakdown, Packing and Loading of everything from Registration equipment, Media books and memorabilia, to Decorations, both late Saturday Evening and early Sunday Morning: our heartfelt thanks…To those who served at the Registration Tables, Media sales, the Children’s Areas, setting up décor in each Classroom, and finishing the decorating of the Stage on Saturday afternoon, we couldn’t have done it without you! 

To the Ushers and Security volunteers, our sincere gratitude.  Without you we would have been lost in the wings, without a place to sit in service, or even vulnerable, without your service.

Thanks to all the volunteers who prepared to share and lead in the different classes and “Bubble Busters”.   Your thoughtfulness, vulnerability and creativity took our Expo to a whole new level, and we were all inspired!

A Special thank you to those who babysat children at different times during the Expo so that the daddies and mommies could attend.

To those who helped to pay for another person who could not have made it to the Expo without your sacrifice, Thank You!

To all who practiced and prepared to serve in a most creative way: the Pipers!  From all Counties in our church you came together, willing to create, to sacrifice by missing some classes, and to give, to both the children and their parents, to make us laugh and think…thanks so much!  The Expo would not be the same without you!

To the happy and selfless workers and coordinators in both the Children’s and the Spiritual Resource Ministries, we want to give you a special thanks.  We appreciate your support at each worship service during your rotation, but especially during the Expo, when you must miss some classes, and especially the Main Service, in order to encourage and inspire our children to dream with us.

To those who practiced (more than we know) for the incredible service on Saturday evening, to the musicians, the singers and song leaders, to those who participated in the creation of the video, and passed the Communion and Contribution trays in the service, we thank you!   Without your creativity, without your willingness to give your best, the Saturday Evening Service could not have been as special as it was this year.

To the ones on the Count Team, we thank you for your integrity and diligence.

To those who recorded and to those who duplicated the CD’s of the classes, thanks for helping the memories to linger and the convictions continue to go deep!  To Chris Bledsoe and Mel Schulman, a special tip of the hat!

To Helen, who spent long hours designing the program, your dedication is priceless.  Thank you!
