A Shoreline Thank You

The Shoreline Amphitheatre, the Bay Area's premier concert venue

A premier concert venue draws large crowds from the greater Bay Area

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus”

Once again The Bay Area Christian Church owes a special thanks to the Shoreline Amphitheatre and its staff for another memorable, fun and exciting family experience. This Sunday’s June 14th service was our 16th year in a row celebrating one of our favorite events of the year. “The Shoreline” as it has become affectionately known has become an annual family reunion celebrated with friends from all over the greater Bay Area. This annual service acts as a marker for watching our families increase in size and grow in age. To put in perspective, this past Sunday there were young people on stage performing who were not born when we hosted our first Service at the Shoreline.
It’s easy to see why it’s the Bay Area’s premier outdoor concert venue. With a seating capacity 22,000 its amphitheatre style maintains a warm and intimate setting where everyone feels close and connected to the stage. This premier Mountain View location has hosted nearly every major performer since it opened in 1986. We are always thrilled to invite people to this beautiful outdoor amphitheatre, and the thousands of friends from the Bay Area Community who attend each year attest to that fact.
The Shoreline’s laid back style fits perfectly with our concert style service and the picnics that follow. However it’s the outstanding service provided by its staff that makes the entire experience so positive. Operations Manager Aaron Hawkins and his crew make sure that our event has everything it needs for a smooth and enjoyable time. Having worked all 16 services Aaron is like family. Aaron and his crew are professional and friendly, hard working and yet laid back. They know us so well that they anticipate needs and make recommendations that help us maintain our tradition for a memorable and fun experience. So once again, great job Shoreline. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
